OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION
The Office of Administration, which is headed by the Director, is committed to improving the quality of services provided by the Department of Operational Services. There are four sections within the Office of Administration: Budget Management which is responsible for the accounting and budget process, both operating and capital, and financial reporting. Human Resources which strives to ensure that employees are paid accurately and timely, that open positions are filled as soon as possible, that injured employees are transitioned back to work as soon as they are able, and that employees are evaluated regularly and well informed of their benefits. Contracts Administration which is responsible for timely initiation, reviewing, resolving contract issues, processing, distribution, and tracking all contracts for the Department. Property Management which is responsible for all property acquisitions, land disposal, property leases, closures and abandonments of streets, alleys, and utility servitudes, coordination of granting franchises that involve the use of public right-of-way, and annexations.
