Check out the Convention Center Site
The Convention Center site is a four city block area along Cross Bayou in downtown Shreveport consisting of previous commercial and industrial properties, including a railroad station, power plant and other commercial sites.
The Brownfields program, including in particular the Revolving Loan fund described below, is being utilized to help fund the assessment and remediation of this site so that a new Convention Center complex can be constructed.
