Shreveport Police arrest suspect for filing a false police report

Shreveport Police detectives have arrested a local woman for filing a false public record after she allegedly filed a false police report.

On December 31, 2009, Krystle Scott reported to Shreveport Police that she had been beaten and raped by a known suspect. As detectives conducted their investigation, they discovered that Scott, who suffered no injuries of any kind, was lying and had not been beaten or sexually assaulted. On January 2, 2010, investigators arrested 24 year old Krystle Scott of the 4400 block of Danny Wimberly in Shreveport and booked her into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of filing or maintaining false public records.
