Charge upgraded against Kimethia Coleman

Shreveport Police detectives have upgraded the charge against Kimethia Coleman this morning.

Coleman, 24 years of age, was charged with one count of manslaughter in connection with the stabbing death of 29 year old Brian Spinks in the early morning hours of January 17, 2010. Based on information gathered in this ongoing investigation, detectives conferred with the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office and have now upgraded the manslaughter charge to one count of second degree murder.
