Shreveport Police searching for missing man

The Shreveport Police Department needs your help to find a man who has not been seen since early January.

Carl Wayne Brown, Sr. has been missing since January 2, 2010 when he left his home in Shreveport in his light blue 1992 Mercedes 400SE bearing Texas license plate “NFL589”. Mr. Brown was heading to Houston, Texas and apparently has not arrived there. Mr. Brown is a 48 year old black male who stands 6’2” tall and weighs 140 lbs. Family members have not heard from Brown since January 2, 2010.

Police are concerned for the welfare Mr. Brown. Family members tell detectives that he normally talks to them on a daily basis and it is out of character for him not to contact them. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Charles Wayne Brown, Sr., they are asked to call Detective Lindsey Bonner at 318-673-7020 or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
