Tactical Robbery Unit Special Operation

Members of Shreveport Police's Armed Robbery Task force along with K-9 officers and members of Patrol conducted a special operation last night which resulted in multiply arrests.

The operation which was conducted over a three hour period resulted in 7 arrest, 6 for felonies, ranging from outstanding city warrants to drug possession and even three car burglars.

24 year old Kenneth Roby, Black male DOB 2-20-1983, was arrested on the corner of Hassett and Sumner for Possession of Schedule I Narcotics Second Offense, after officers found 1 gram of Marijuana on his possession.

After a routine stop officers arrested 23 year old Victor Hoskey when it was learned he had 5 outstanding city misdemeanor arrests warrants. Hoskey, Black male DOB 7-22-1984, was arrested in the 3800 block of Linwood and booked into the city jail for warrants of:

1 Theft of Goods

2 Driving under suspension

3 Loud Music

4 Driving under Suspension

5 No seatbelt

26 year old Casey Ebey, White Male DOB 8-6-1981, was arrested at the corner of Beverly @ Stratford for one count of Possession of Schedule I Narcotics Second Offense, one count of Possession of Schedule III Narcotics and one count of Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Officers seized 5.4 grams of marijuana and 1 Lortab pill.

17 year old Jeremy Rainey, Black Male DOB 9-20-1990, in the 4100 block of St. Vincent after officers found one gram of marijuana and a .22 caliber handgun on his person. Rainey was charged with Possession of Schedule I narcotics, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Illegal Carrying of Weapons.

While patrolling during the special operation, A K-9 officer arrested 3 men in the 6500 block of Hearne Avenue at C&C Auto Sales. 17 year old Fleen Myles, Black Male DOB 8-16-1990, 17 year old Marquise Walker, Black Male DOB 10-1-1990, and 18 year old Trastavien Hardy, Black Male DOB 10-14-1989, were all charged with one count of Simple Burglary each after they were caught trying to break into a Crown Victoria on the parking lot.

In all the Armed Robbery Task force made 6 felony and 1 misdemeanor arrests, seized on gun and removed 7.4 grams of Marijuana and 1 Lortab pill
