SENIOR DRIVER-OPERATOR STREET PAINT STRIPING MACHINE

DUTIES: Normally serves as senior member of three-person paint truck crew. Oversees and performs same tasks as hose assigned to Driver-Operator Street Paint Striping Machine. Drives truck or operates paint guns from either of two positions, rear of truck (one left side, one fight side). Also, uses paint brush and spray gun to paint cross walks, stop blocks, curbs, glass spheres, arrows, parking stalls, fire alarm poles, etc. Helps load truck, bleed fluid lines, and set up/take down barricades. Speaking-Signaling and Driving-Operating: 883.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to perform assigned tasks. Two years training and experience as Driver-Operator Street Paint Striping Machine. Physical stamina; manual dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination; spatial and form perception; and ability and willingness to follow instructions. Thorough knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highways Administration.
